Changing Participant for Business Process without restarting the business Process

Is there a way to change the trustee/participant for a business process in a running instance without restarting the process?

We have a workflow which has a business process assigned to a participant. We want to update that participant in the running instance without restarting the whole workflow. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Rajeshwari,

If I understand you correctly, then I believe the answer to your question is "Yes".

There is an "Update Participants" action in the Toolbox that is placed inside a Business Process Step and which allows you to update the participants assigned to the process.
