Forms - Due Date & Priority

There doesn't seem to be a way for a Form to maintain a Due Date or Priority that is set be a User when it moves to the next User.  The only options  are

  • None, which deletes them,
  • Based on a Variable - Due Date not one of them,
  • Exact Date - calendar

 

Am I missing something?

The due date and priority are properties per task , if you want multiple tasks to have some due date and properties, you can set the due date and priority based on variables. For example, the process flow is : start->user task 1->user task 2, you add fields on the form in start step to set the due date and priority on the form and use the variables in user task 1 and user task 2 to set the due date and priority based on variable.

It seems redundant to have a field when the functionality exists in the system already.  It also makes the Process design more complicated.

I bring this feature request back to the team and we will consider adding support for the due date/priority variable for previous user submission.
