You can. 

It becomes problematic however if someone keeps a tab open of say the process diagram, and then saves over the other person's work. It's not always apparent you are not working on the newest version or if someone is currently editing the content.

We've saved over each other's work a few times. Only takes a few times before everyone becomes very conscious about saving and coordinating :)
