"Wait for workflow to finish" causing some trouble

When I have the option "Wait for workflow to finish" selected on a form, and a workflow has an error which terminates it, the forms keep trying to run the same faulty workflow over and over again. Is this a known issue?

Hi Lidija, yes. It is a consequence of the new feature in Forms 10.2 to retry suspended tasks. SCR 156099 has been filed to not retry Workflow tasks.

The SCR is linked to this thread on our end so this thread will be updated when a fix is released. The other way to monitor the status is to have your VAR open up a case with Support linked to this bug - then Support will notify the VAR when a bug fix is released.

Is there any update to this?  Currently developing something and users tested over the weekend and the workflow just kept trying..  Tens of thousands of terminated workflows.

Please see this post. Forms 10.2.1 has a configurable option in the cf_options database table that can toggle Workflow retries.
