Dynamic Field Working in Client but not Scanning

We have some dynamic fields set up (2 groups). The second group of dynamic fields works without any problems in the client and LF Scanning. The first group of dynamic fields however work in the Client, but not LF Scanning. The first field populates correctly and you can select a value. Once you click one the second field you receive the error listed below. It happens in both Basic and Standard. The dynamic fields are setup as follows:

Any ideas why we would be getting this error in scanning by not the client?

Using Laserfiche Scanning 10.1.1.320.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

This issue has be correct in 10.4

I've identified a few scenarios where Link Groups of Dynamic Fields do not work correctly.  I've sent them on and have received the following confirmations back:  

SCR#155663 - MVFG dynamic fields will not display values for the child fields after selecting a value for the parent field when using LF Scanning

SCR 155239 - Field groups of Dynamic Fields do not load in Web Access

We're experiencing the same issue with one of our customers.  I have a three-field setup where some of the fields only have values in the top and bottom fields (no middle value).  I wonder if that has something to do with it...
