When you click the "attachement" action in the web client where does the attachment go?

You can view it directly from the document. An icon will appear where you attach it (like other annotation types) and you can click on that to open the attachment.

Attachments are stored in the document's volume.

So I just tested this and I don't see anything on the file or under the annotation pane. Am I missing something?
