Question

google translate for weblink

asked on March 23, 2017

Is there a way Google Translate can be used with Laserfiche Weblink 9?   Or is there a function / option available within Weblink to allow the user to have the option of translating to Spanish?  Most of the documents are stored as TIF images so these could not be translated, but the documents do have associated OCR text, as well as the general navigation text in Weblink.   Currently, if we select the Google Translate option for our website and navigate to the Laserfiche Weblink site the cursor spins and the Weblink page is not displayed.

Google translate is working for me. Go to the WebLink page in Chrome, right click and choose translate from the context menu, it should translate the page to whatever language you want. Because my browser is in English, the option is to "Translate to English", then after doing that, you can click the small button in the address bar to change the language.
