Question

could not find volume error in quick fields

asked on March 22, 2017 Show version history

I have never seen this error before and I have changed the volume from default to the main one the company uses with no success. What else could be causing QF to not find the volume?

I got this error when storing documents and the connection profile is the user's Windows account.  Thanks for the help.

Are you able to store a document into the same folder directly in the Windows Client? Make sure the parent folder has a default volume set.

Hello Steven, do you have any other ideas on what could cause this?

Hi Lucas, did you set the default volume of the parent folder to an actual volume? If so, are you still receiving the same message?

Yep, I did. Should I start a support case?

I can store documents with a drag and drop into many different folders in their repo including where I'm trying to send these documents. I did open properties and found this.

Why would it say "no volume assigned" instead of default? Also this issues has started because we created a new QF session. The old sessions worked just fine.

So I'm not sure if the "no volume assigned" is causing this issue because I have found a handful of other folders with this setting that the client software has no issues interacting with.
