Quick Fields 10 Lookup

asked on March 21, 2017

I am wanting to perform a lookup in a Quick Fields 10 Update 1 session. I can't find the option to do that anywhere. We are using Laserfiche Avante.

What am I missing? Is this no longer available in Quick Fields?

You could have Quick Fields fill out only the employee number, and then after storing the documents to Laserfiche, run a Workflow on each document that reads the employee number, does the lookup (using the query data activity), and fills out the rest of the fields.

If you go to Help > About, there is a text box where it lists what features you have in the license. Can you check to see if lookup is in that list?

Guess not. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. This is all we have.

Features: 5
Substitution
Text Identification
Pattern Matching
OmniPage Zone OCR
Barcode

I wanted to lookup a users name from AD by employee number. Occasionally names change and would cause a cover sheet to need reprinted. It we only put the employee number on the cover sheet and lookup the rest, I figured we could prevent that issue. Any other way to accomplish this?
