Kerri, Joanna's suggestion to look at the Solution Exchange for other examples is a good one. I know you are looking for something you can implement right away, but the importance of folder structure is that it works within your environment. The best recommendation I could make is to start with higher level folders, related to the topics you included above, that you secure to the users in those areas. Then as you look at your needs, you can refine that structure to include more subfolders that can be secured to other select groups as you move ahead.
Start your folder structure small and grow because it will be easier to secure. It will also allow you to be more flexible if you find that you need to make changes down the road. Another suggestion would be to create folder structures and proposed templates in Word/Excel to share with your project team before putting anything in Laserfiche. It will save you hours of rework as you refine the process.
Get training! Invest in the CPP courses for repository architecture and securities. They will go a long way in helping you design an efficient system that is budget friendly and requires less of your time to maintain.
Work with your VAR on project management for larger projects that have more complexity. They are your Laserfiche subject matter experts.
Wishing you the best as you implement your system!
