I have a Quick Fields session that utilizes the Laserfiche Capture Engine. The sessions uses barcodes, OCR, etc to identify and sort the documents to different folders. I want to be able obtain the user that created the original document before the session started and split the documents. This token would then be used to update a field, tag, or something so when a different user is looking at the documents after the session has run will know who scanned in the original document.

Was there ever any solution for this? I'm wanting to do something similar but I don't see any place to retrieve the created by token.

I agree on the need for this. Currently, we have to use Workflow to write the Created By value to a template field so we have access to the data after QuickFields has completed. I would also like to have the option in QuickFields to have the Created By stay the account who originally created the document in Laserfiche, instead of reassigning to the account QuickFields Agent is running under.
