Automatically create a Forms Task containing metadata fields from repository stored files after scanning with Quick Fields

Good day,

 

I am scanning files with quick fields and the goal is to create or trigger a forms task that contains metadata from stored files via quick fields. How can I possibly able to do this?

Hi Jake

You would need to use Workflow to monitor the folder the scans are being stored into which when kicked off would "Retrieve MetaData" of the file, and "Invoke Business Process" (the Form) and pass the Metadata into the Form Field.

On the Forms side, you create the form and in the Process Diagram use the Start Event instead of the Message Start Event which means the form will be created and put in the Assigned Users Inbox without user intervention.
