Web Access Extension Disables Automatically+

asked on March 14, 2017

I have an issue where every time I open Google Chrome or restart it, the Laserfiche Web Access Extension is automatically set to Disabled:

No matter how often I check this box, it is always unchecked when I start Chrome again.

When this is not enabled, I am not able to scan with the Web Client (system will ask me to download the extension again), and also certain electronic documents are not easily viewed in the Web Client (system asks me to "check out" and download the document).

I have noticed that this does not happen on every computer here, only on a select few. I have tried reinstalling, doesn't fix my issue. Also, I do not want to use any other browser, as Chrome seems to work the best for me.

Is this a known issue, or is there a fix that can be applied that will keep this extension enabled so I don't have to remember to keep re-enabling it?

I don't know why Chrome would disable the extension.  Google hasn't notified us of any problems with it that would lead them to disable it, and even if they did I would expect that have a wider effect than the one machine.  The only thing I can suggest is to remove it and re-install it from the extension store.

Doing this seemed to work, going directly to the Chrome store to remove and reinstall this seems to keep it enabled now. Thanks for the suggestion.
