LDAP errors flooding event log in Forms 10.2

asked on March 10, 2017 Show version history

Getting this message over and over for multiple users. Only seems to happen with users who use the product from outside the network who are using participant licenses. Also seems to be users who are using a mobile device (but not only the mobile app, sometimes mobile browsers). They are not reporting having any issues.

We are still investigating this issue, from the experience of another customer that restart the Forms machine will resolve this. Can you try whether restart Forms machine work for you?

The error occurred when getting the group memberships of a user. Do you have the Forms server in the DMZ? For participant license, do you refer to LDAP participant?  Can this error be reproduced every time an LDAP participant sign in?

Anything on this? We are getting thousands of these also. Some users experiencing a generic error "An unexpected error has occurred. [LFF502-UnexpectedError]" on submission.

We have this issue every week or two now. I just tried rebooting the Forms server, and that seemed to do the trick.

The error is saying a Save to Repository task in a Forms process is trying to log into the repository with the wrong user name or password. This can happen if the password was changed and the process was not updated yet. A Forms administrator should be able to search for suspended processes and correct the login information.

Thanks for responding but we have no suspended processes.

Are you sure a Forms administrator checked for suspended processes? Process Designers wouldn't necessarily see all processes.

I am an Administrator and can see all processes. I used to be able to stop processes.
