Laserfiche Workflow Export Error

asked on March 9, 2017

Hi,

I am getting this error message when I attempt to export the Laserfiche Workflow. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The workflow continues to work fine without any issues.

I can publish the workflow without any errors.

I tried restarting Workflow service hoping that would help but it didn't.

I connected to that Workflow server from different Workflow designers on different machine but get the same error.

Hi Adarsh,

Is the user you are logged in as on the server a local administrator?

Hi Chris,

Yes I have. I can export many other workflows from the same server environment.

Thanks,

Adarsh

Does your workflow have an external reference?

Hi Raymond,

I don't believe I did anything more. I have a DEV environment with same WF version and I am able to export it.

Also, please can you confirm what you meant by external reference?

External reference like a lookup or a reference to another db using a script.  The reference may no longer exist or have been disabled.  If you do have those, remove them and try exporting it again.

Hi Raymond,

I will go thorough each activity to see if I can figure out if something is broken. So far, the WF publishes fine and there have not been errors in running instances which makes me believe that there is no missing link of any sort (fingers crossed).

I will let you know when I access customer environment next.

Thanks,

Adarsh

Please click on the help button on that message and choose "Copy diagnostics data" and paste the message in here.

Is your Designer the same version as your server?

Hi Miruna,

Please find the diagnostic data below.

Also, LF Server version is LaserficheRio10.1.0.254 where as WF server version is 10.0.0.259.

When I installed it back in May-Jun of 2016, LF 10.1 installer package LaserficheRio10.1.0.151 had LF WF 10.0 version. I subsequently upgraded LF Server to 10.1.0.254 where as workflow remained at 10.0.0.259.

Did you ever get this resolved?  I have the same issue with only one of many workflows on my workflow server.

Hi David,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I believe I did one of the below:

I published the same workflow with a different name and downloaded that one.

OR

I downloaded the workflow from Workflow Admin Console.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Adarsh
