Question

Showing Search Fields once the user logs in

asked on March 8, 2017

Hello

I have a point related to showing advanced search pointing at particular template once the user logs in to Web Access.

Steps:

1- I log in to web access>Advanced search>Select the particular Template.

it generates a URL:

http://10.0.1.161/laserfiche/Browse.aspx?repo=LFISB#?view=search&search=%7BLF:templateid%3D3%7D

It shows template fields as required as shown in image 1.

2- I saved this link and shared it with all users once any body logs in, he will be redirected to search but it shows Search Syntax instead of shown fields as shown in attached Image 2.

How to show fields directly????

This is something we are looking to fix for 10.3 (ref#TFS-21315). I think the closest you can get is by creating a saved search (click "Save" at the bottom of the advanced search dialog).

Has this feature been added in 10.3.1? I really would like to have this option. Its messed up quite a few users and now the regulators that are visiting since the change to v10.
