Forms 10.2 using check boxes

prior to Forms 10.2 I used check boxes and had the Field Options set to "Required". The user was required to check at least one checkbox not all of them. This worked prior to 10.2. Now the user has to check each box.

We only need the user to check one or more boxes not all of them. Do I have to change the form, or is this s defect?

Hi Theresa. I have Forms 10.2 on test servers and checkbox required only needs one box checked so I can't replicate your issue

We have seen this issue when using Forms 10.2 in Internet Explorer 11 with compatibility view enabled. Is that what you are using? The team is working on a fix, but in the meantime please try turning off compatibility view or using another browser if possible.

Hi Theresa,

We found the same issue, but only with Internet Explorer. All other browsers work ok.

I logged a support ticket a month ago and they have identified it as a bug. Please see the response below:

From Laserfiche Support:

Hi Grant, we are aware of this issue; SCR 154355 has already been filed and a fix is slated for a pending hotfix. The case will be updated when the fix is available. Thanks

I have inserted html fields on all forms that contain required check boxes to use any browser not IE. Probably the best way doing this temporarily until a fix is out.

Hi,

Forms 10.2 Update 1 has been released and this problem is fixed in this update.
