The Laserfiche lookup has this clause:

Note: The table must be on the same SQL Server as your repository, but it does not need to be the same database. (If you are using Oracle, it must be on the same schema.)

Workflow, Forms, and QF do not have this requirement. How much longer until we can free Laserfiche from this requirement.

The problem it causes it that we can't match template lists with lists from other products (workflow, forms, qf) and leaving it up to users to perfectly manually type in information is not realistic.
