Question

Any issues running LF in a Hyper Converged Infrastructure?

asked on March 2, 2017

We've received a few inquiries now about running Laserfiche on top of a hyper converged infrastructure storage platform.  The vast majority of our organizations use a non-converged infrastructure.  Can you provide any feedback about Laserfiche running in a converged and hyper-converged infrastructure?

I would not expect there to be any issues with LF volumes in any of these infrastructure types, but I do have concern over server hardware fingerprints, performance in general, etc.

We have some very large clients inquiring about hyper-converged infrastructure as well.   It would be good to know if anyone has done this and if not what thoughts Laserfiche Corporate might have.   We have the same concerns regarding hardware fingerprints and performance.

Can someone at Laserfiche shed any light on this topic?
