Is it possible to know the naming convention used for the Temporary files created by QuickFields (by default under C:\ProgramData\Laserfiche\Quick Fields\Files\SessionFolder)?

The reason of my question is that we are facing many problems with those files :

  • Sometimes they are not being deleted after stored in the repository, so they are duplicated and can be simply deleted.
  • Sometimes they are not stored in the Repository and they are not pending in the QF session (un-stored or unidentified).
  • Sometimes they are not accessible even if you are Local Administrator (Windows error = "you dont have the correct permission to access the file location"), until you manually change the Security rights to grant yourself the read access.
  • Sometimes QF Agent fails with message "Could not find part of the path..."
  • etc

Since they can easily reach thousands of files, it is impossible to check them one by one, nor to identify when or why they remain there, if you can delete them or not, if they are "valid" or duplicated images, in which order reprocess them, etc.

If we can know the naming convention used to create those files and their intermediate folders, at least we would be able to create a procedure to check/troubleshoot them.

For instance, I have a file named:

C:\ProgramData\Laserfiche\Quick Fields\Files\SessionID\6\133\21\4\00000804.tif

Thank you and best regards,
