Web Client 10.2 Fully Qualified Username Requirement

asked on February 23, 2017 Show version history

After upgrading from Web Access to Web Client 10.2 the users must enter their fully qualified domain name. IE: domain\username or username@domain. Is there an option to allow them to just enter their username again?

If you have Prompt for Windows Credentials enabled, then you can login using a laserfiche account by adding a backslash to the beginning of the username.

For example:  \admin

Hi Chad, in the Web Access configuration page, when specifying how users log into a repository, if you choose to "prompt for Windows domain credentials" you will again be prompted for a default domain. If you then specify a user name without qualification, it will log in as the user from that domain.

Ok, I previously had it configured to Prompt for Laserfiche Credentials and that worked for domain users. I just switched it to prompt for Windows Credentials but how do I login as admin or any other laserfiche account?
