HI Everyone,

In Forms, Is it at all possible to limit or restrict, who a request could be re-assigned to, in the event the assigned approver not being available?

Example: In the event the CEO is unable to attend to work related matters, and a designate is identified. Would it be possible to restrict the process to say, if the current CEO is unavailable, and any process admin would like to redirect a request, they only have the option to select from 3 other people max?

Hi,

Forms currently does not have an option to limit the user that a task can be re-assigned to. Technically the process admin can change the process and assign the task to anyone in the company. In the future, Forms could provide a feature for delegation, which is different from re-assign. Delegation is controlled by the user (in your case the CEO), indicating which task should be available to which user as delegatee, who could perform the task on his/her behalf.

I do not believe this currently an option in Forms 10.
