Question

Workflow permissions

asked on February 21, 2017

Hello all,

I'm new to Workflow, and in trying to tackle some tasks, I learned from another LF-Answers member that I'm missing some of the activities from the "Enterprise Integration" tab on the left pane.

I believe I'm missing "Insert Data, Update Data and Query Data". Our WF admins can't figure out why this is happening. It seems as if I have the same permissions that other colleagues have, but they can see these activities. I tired resetting the toolbar as well. We tried adding the activities via "Add/Remove" activities option, but the missing activities aren't available to be picked either. The admins also tried taking me off and back on the designer to no avail.

Has anyone ran across this issue and know of a fix? I can copy/paste the missing activities from an existing Workflow, I just can't grab them from the Toolbox, because they don't show. Attached is a screenshot of the only activities I see under the "Enterprise Integration" tab.

I just found out that the Workflow behavior indicated above is part of a custom request, having to do with registry settings. In a clean install the Activities indicated would actually show.

Thanks,
