The attachment is a folder, but the workflow was expecting a document

I wanted to open a submitted attached form to the laserfiche client but the client opens a folder instead of the document. A sample is attached.

You'll want to look at your workflow and the entry attached in the Email activity. It sounds like it's set up as a document in the activity's properties.
