The number of printers per session limit was reached. The following print queue was not created: 

 

^^This error has been coming up quite often on our Event Viewer (15 times daily) for our primary Laserfiche Server.  When users are trying to scan documents behind entries in LF, the client will stop responding for several minutes and then will return to normal.

OneNote is a MS application.  What does it have to do with LF? Is it possible that they are sending files to OneNote at the same time that they are scanning?

I thought that the scanning issue we were having had to do with this error but it turns out it has to do with the Laserfiche Audit Trail database

What are they doing with Audit trail?
