Question

Setting Up Kerberos for the Web Client on IIS7

asked on February 9, 2017

Hello,

I noticed that the documentation on Setting Up Kerberos for the Web Client on IIS7 at the below location is catered to Web Access 8.

https://support.laserfiche.com/resources/1163/setting-up-kerberos-for-web-access-8-on-iis-7

Is there an updated white paper or documentation for Web Client 10? Also, is there any documentation LF can provide on how to configure Web Access to use Kerberos Kernel mode so that SPN configuration is not needed?

Thanks!

None of the requirements on the Laserfiche end have changed since version 8.  For kernel mode, it's easy to configure the authentication for the web application in IIS.  Then it's just a matter of coordinating the spn, app pool identity, and delegation settings.
