We have a Goal Setting and Performance Review process that we are constructing, and I am wondering if it's possible to disable the "Action History" pane for people interacting with the process.
The reason for this is to prevent employees from using it to look back at past versions of feedback from their managers that HR has since ordered the manager to revise.
Example: Case
- Employee does their self evaluation
- Manager receives it, writes their evaluation of Employee and says something nasty
- HR looks at the full review, sends it back to Manager to revise/remove nasty remark
- Manager makes the change
- Face to Face meeting takes place between Employee and Manager
- Copy of the full review sent to Employee to sign off on
- At this point, need to prevent Employee from using the Action History to access previous steps in the process and being able to see the nasty remark.
Any ideas?
