I am getting this error when I try to scan Duplex with my Epson DS-530 scanner using WIA drivers. I do not get this error if I scan on a single side. I also can scan with no issues using the Windows Fax and Scan application. This makes me think the issue is with LaserFiche, because I only get this error when trying to scan inside LaserFiche. I have tried to reboot the scanner, computer, and replug USB cable from the scanner, and none of these fixed the issue. Not sure what else to try, any help would be appreciated.

Was this resolved? I'd love to know because I'm currently experiencing the same problem with a new scanner.

Please contact your VAR and have them open a case with Support.
