Dears,

A customers is willing to install Laserfiche on Azure Cloud. the configuration is as follows:

1- 50 Full connections simultaneously from 150 full users to the repository .

2- 75 Forms submission/approval simultaneously of 1000 participants .

It is known that having 1 SQL Server and 1 Laserfiche Server and 1 web-server is the best technical architecture, but the customer is willing to have all on one server:

- What specs do you suggest for one server?

- Can We install our own SQL Server License on Azure or we should buy the SQL instance from Azure itself?

Hi Dory,

This is a very good read and should point you in the right direction. (see attached whitepaper)

Something to be aware of in Azure, when the server is re-booted in Azure, sometimes the hardware fingerprint can change. This is a Microsoft thing and something you need to be aware of.

Also, it's always recommended where possible to have SQL and LF on different servers (this is explained in more detail in the white paper).
