We are cleaning up old documents in quarterly volumes. Some of the volumes are so old, we do not need to archive them.

What is the best way to purge the images, text, and metadata associated with these documents? If I delete the volume will it also remove the metadata stored in SQL? What about when individual documents are deleted?
