A client of ours is encountering an issue where users are encounter the following message when attempting to use the Laserfiche Office Plugin 'Save to Laserfiche':
Background: Client is on Laserfiche 10 but had slow performance issues with Web Access 10 and was rolled back to version 9.2 which performed better in their environment. The Laserfiche Office plugin was configured to use the Web Access URL. Since Web Access have been downloaded, this message is expected.
Client is in a terminal environment. Once this message is encountered, The user can click Ok, detach the repository and attach it using the Laserfiche server. This will server them for the rest of the session. But if they log off the terminal session and log back in, then they encounter the same error message and repeat the same steps.
Per Laserfiche Support's instructions, Client has completely uninstalled the Laserfiche Client, deleted the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche registry key, rebooted and re-installed the Laserfiche Client. The changes were effected for only users with admin privileges (windows) and not the power terminal server users.
The second option we tried was creating a startup script for the users to re-write the registry entries with the correct values. This worked for a bit but we are now back to the same error message as above. Per our Client, only changes in their environment are Windows Updates which they do regularly.
It seems something within the terminal environment is re-writing these registry entries. Any ideas or suggestions will be highly appreciated.
