Query Data to update Word Document

I am able update a word doc with MergeField no problem.  But now the same word doc needs updated from an external table. I created the table and added it in the Admin Console and edited the Word doc added StartTable and EndTable. However it does not seem to be pulling from the table. My merge fields are being updated but nothing in the Table. I will attach screen shots of my workflow and word doc. Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks Wendi

The stuff in yellow pulled in the correct info except the TableStart:AppraisalDefinitions  Purpose  TableEnd:

Attached is the excel file I used to create a cvs and added it in SQL and the Admin console external tables.

I am updating the word doc with fields I pulling from a PDF, but I thought with query data I needed to add the external table. Is that correct? Thanks for your support. Wendi

Sorry, I meant the table merge action from the Update Word Document activity in Workflow.

Your "merge region name" should be the same as your table name: AppraisalDefinitions

I made the change, republished the Workflow and get the same result. Did I miss something? Please advise.  Thanks

Hi Miruna, I am attaching my xlsx file, which I converted to a cvs file that I am using for my query data. It is added in my SQL and in the admin console external tables and I can view it without error. (see attached)

 Would it be possible to show me a sample of how to use query data to work with update Word Document. Just those activities, I'm obviously not using it correctly.  Thanks Wendi

I've taken down the Excel spreadsheet because this is a public site and we don't want customer data available on it. Please open a support case and attach the workflow and the Word document you're working with.

Wendi, did you ever get a resolution to this?  I'm struggling with the same thing, I think.  I'm not sure if it's the way I'm setting up my word doc, or the workflow itself.
