Hi Annette,

You can generate pages on a PDF, which will create a TIFF image of your document. Select the document(s) you would like to generate pages for and go to Tasks>Generate Pages. This will allow you to open the TIFF in the document viewer while maintaining the document's metadata.

If you want to delete the PDF from the file entirely, after you have generated pages on the document, go to the "Tasks" menu and select "Delete Electronic Files." You can see more detailed instructions on this Answers post.

Are you asking about Laserfiche metadata or the PDF's metadata?

We wanted to replace PDFs with TIFFs and keep the Laserfiche metadata.  Thanks.

Thanks, Anita.  That's exactly what we needed.  We knew Generate Pages had to be part of it, but we were missing the Delete Electronic Files step.
