Is there another way to rename a workflow yet?

In order to rename a workflow, you would need to

  1. Republish it
  2. Copy the Starting Rules
  3. Delete the old workflow

 

I see Kenneth Salmon's post asking for this in 2013 and Ege Ersoz's request in 2015.  Has this feature been implemented in the past few years?  Thank you!

There is not. You can export it and reimport it back. The import wizard will detect the existing one with the same name and prompt you to rename the imported one. Exporting the workflow will include the starting rules as well.
