Question

Question

Forms for Employees and for public forms.

asked on January 11, 2017 Show version history

Is there a way to separate forms out for internal and external forms. I know we can make the forms on an internal location that would only be accessible to someone on the network and I know you can license and install a second forms server.

Example would be forms that only employees would have access to (not names users or Authenticated participants) and another form that would be public form.

Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

We have 2 forms server, internal and external that have a shared database ( thus shared forms ).   On our external forms server we don't want access to the internal only forms.   We block access to them by going into the IIS Manager on the external forms server and using the Request Filtering - URL - Deny Sequence  feature to block the URLs that would open our internal only forms.
