A choice of Field background colour in a Template would enable a user to quickly recognise important fields or fields that belong to the same part of a process or workflow.  For example, initial data and approval fields for invoices.

Highlight fields for the current activity or to highlight fields that need to be processed by a particular User.  For example, as an invoice moves through approval the next approval field that requires attention could be highlighted.  Or a particular field that has not yet been filled could be highlighted.

I have been asked for this feature by my customers.
