Contact popup window prompting users to save documents - where to disable this ?

We are on 10.1 LF and have users complaining when they are working in a word document they are constantly bombarded with the save as new document or new version prompt window. Where or how is this coming from and where to disable this option is the question here.

Word document being .docx or .doc files and they are on LF repository already. Some users receive these prompts quite frequently some receive them occasionally only.

Was debating opening a support ticket vs trying to get some answers if other users have faced this similar situation too ?

Guess no one else seen this behavior, will have to connect with support it seems.

Hi there. I also have a user who is experiencing this same behavior even after the document has been saved in WORD. However, her prompt window is appearing behind her other programs, thereby preventing her from being able to work in WORD. Its becoming annoying. Did Support provide you with a fix? I have been trying to find some fixes but not successful at getting any conclusive answers.
