Technology Request Form mapped out process

Hi, I am a new user to LF and I have the task of creating our Technology Request form.  I am still in the training phase, but  I have created the form and am now mapping out my process.  If anybody has created a process for a Technology request type form would you mind sharing examples?  Our process seems simple:  Employee submits form, their dept director approves, IT manager reviews and approves,  IT personnel is assigned the task.  Once the IT personnel is assigned, the manager wants to somehow note that the IT personnel made contact with the employee/department with a mtg scheduled, date and time. I am not sure how to note that???  Any helpful ideas or suggestions will be gladly accepted!

When the IT personnel is assigned the Task, you can name that Task "To be Scheduled", You can have fields to enter the Meeting Date and Time on the Form, then have an Action Button that would be "Meeting Scheduled" and have the process move too the Stage "Meeting Scheduled". It will then show up in the Action History Details on the Right of the Task Inbox and the manager can filter the items in the task inbox to see what was scheduled. Creating Stages in the Process Diagram to provide visibility to where you are in a process and is also used to drive the Dashboards, suggest you familiarize yourself with this functionality.
