It sounds like you have a rollover volume and when the new document is stored, the Laserfiche Server is trying to roll over the volume and create a new child. But the folder on disk where the new volume would be set already exists and contains a different volume.
It is set to store in "default"
and how would we go about fixing this???
We went into the admin console, the volumes are set to create new at 20 GB, the current volume is at 20 GB but a new one is not created. The IT is checking to make sure space is there for it to create at the volume location. Where do we go from there if there is plenty of space?
What is the latest child volume under Default in the Admin Console? If you check the volume location on disk, is there a folder with the next number in the sequence? The message seems to indicate there is one and that there's a different volume in it.
It's probably best that you get Tech Support's help in checking things out.
found the issue, somehow a while back, a folder named default0000002 was already created. There was nothing in it. I just deleted it and let LaserFiche recreated when a document was stored. This fixed the issue
I did the same thing, i deleted the last volume child, it works but i ignore the explanation, is there anyone to calrify this.
