Replicate entries activity

I am using the Replicate entries activity to move the entry from one repository to another. Both are on different servers. The workflow completes. But, the document never shows up in the destination repository. Any help please?

Did you setup access rights on the other server?

The user account that we are using has access to the destination folders. What else access rights need to be set up please?

When replicating to the other server, do you have both servers connection profiles specified within the workflow? also, if the document has an template attached to it, i usually export it and then import it to the other server making sure that the access rights are specified for that user account.

Thanks. Yes, both server connection profiles are specified within the workflow. There is no template attached to the document.

I wanted to mention that the source entry is coming from 9.2 repository and the destination folder is 10.1 repository. The repositories are on different servers .

What's the point of the deadline?

Have you checked the instance details for any errors?

I agree with Miruna, try an approach like this after you can confirm there are no errors, Perhaps this can help. Make sure you have specified the copy settings.

The point of deadline is to end the workflow if it does not complete in 10 minutes. I can remove the deadline and try. There are no errors in the workflow instance.

What I see is that in the Entries section of the workflow instance, it is coming up with a popup to enter Laserfiche credentials to login to the repository. The workflow completed fine though. I do not know why it asking this popup. Any ideas please?

The pop up is an added layer of security to ensure you have rights to see the document(s) displayed there.

So you're saying that with a single document, a workflow with just a Replicate Entries activity takes over 10 minutes? How many pages are in the document?

Thanks. Yes a single word document with 2 pages. It takes 8 minutes to complete. I removed the deadline and even then I do not see the document in the destination. When I go to Entries tab, it keeps on circling. I do not know why it does that. I am attaching screen shot.

Is there nothing in the Messages tab? Are you sure you're not looking at the destination repository with a user who might not have rights to see the new document?

There are no errors or warnings in the Messages tab. I do have full rights on that destination folder to see all new documents.

on the 9.2 client can you attach both repositories from the respective servers which you mentioned and then from the 9.2 server drag a document across to the 10.1 server repository? I have done and tested this from my end. If you can do this and able to view, then i would suggest it is an issue with the workflow/access rights.
