Dropdown with auto suggest from lookup rule - Forms 10

Is it possible to have a dropdown like a combo box where the list of values will be got from a lookup rule. Also, the user can type in new values that is not in the list in Forms?

It is not supported, with the coming Forms 10.2, you can define a list of choices when design the form that can append to the values returned by the lookup rule.

Does this mean that in 10.2, the auto suggest fields for text boxes in Forms can come from lookup rules please?

Do you mean the auto suggestion for single line field? It is supported in Forms 10 as well. You can just add a lookup rule to the single line field, then the returns of the lookup rule will appear as auto suggestion list.
