I am looking for a way to automate the generation of Laserfiche Pages via workflow or some other means. My process is as follows:

An email is sent to a dedicated email address >> A 3rd party application saves the email message as .msg file to a network folder >> Import Agent picks up the file and saves it to Laserfiche. This is where I would like to generate pages, so my users who may not have Outlook are able to view the file.

It would be ideal to have Import Agent handle this but I was told that IA only generates pages for PDFs.

If you only need to generate text-only pages, you can do that with Import Agent or Quick Fields if you have the right iFilter installed on the machine.

To generate image pages for non-PDF electronic documents in the way that Snapshot does, I don't know of a way to automate this. See this post discussing obstacles involved.
