can you import a briefcase from a FTP site?

We are currently use LF 10, we have a vendor that uses Laserfiche and they have returned our documents using briefcase.  We have setup the FTP site, can you import from the FTP site directly into Laserfiche?

Are you looking for an automated solution, or are you asking if a manual import from that source will work?

If you have direct access to the backend file system of the FTP server, then you should be able to import the briefcase by accessing it through the windows file system.

My guess is that the LFB file is on a secured or cloud FTP server and you do not have direct access to the backend file system.  If this is the case, then you are best off to use a FTP client to download the LFB file locally and then import it.
