Reconnect laserfiche to database

Hello, 

I had to uninstall then reinstall SQL Server 2008 R2 because the SQL Browser's service was impossible to start. After reinstalling SQL Server, I've restored the LF Server and Workflow's databases.

Now, I still can't connect to the repository with Laserfiche Client.

You can see on the attachement the Windows log content.

Is there a way to fix it or should I uninstall/reinstall Laserfiche too ?

Can you translate what the error message says?

There's not enough information to troubleshoot. The message says the server can't find the SQL database. That could be for multiple reasons, like

  • SQL server instance name changed
  • SQL server's security changed and the user specified can't get into the database anymore
  • the database is not attached
  • the database is attached but with a different name
