Hello Miguel,

Yes there is a few different ways...  You can open the jpeg/png image in paint (go to file location, right click open with, select paint) and save the file as a tiff.  Otherwise, if you have adobe photoshop, you can save images as tiff in there as well.

Thank you,

Jon

Can you describe the end goal? It sounds like you're trying to import images into Laserfiche. There are better tools for achieving that than Workflow. Any reason why Import Agent, Quick Fields or Laserfiche Scanning are not an option?

Hello jon T

here is some way to generate a workflow that when the file arrives to a folder the flow can convert it to tif, I understand that somehow you would have to use the SDK.

Hello Miguel,

Yes you would have to use Workflow SDK to create a custom script to take that document and convert it into a tiff.  I do know if you drag and drop the jpeg/png image into Laserfiche Client, it should automatically convert that image into a tiff.

So you can create a workflow that will bring those images into Laserfiche which would then turn that image into a tiff document.

Unfortunately I am not much of a coder, so I do not know the script you would need for that workflow.

Thank you,

Jon

If there are issues with importing images into Laserfiche, or images not displayed correctly in Document Viewer after importing:

Please test with the latest released version of Laserfiche. We continually fix software issues related to image handling in the most recent releases. The released packages provided on our support site will usually contain the latest bug fixes.

If the issue still occur with the latest released version of Laserfiche, please open a support case request with our Technical Support. Please provide detailed descriptions and sample images that demonstrate the problem.

Depending on the nature of the issue, you might be asked to provide the image file before it is imported into Laserfiche, or a briefcase containing the image document after being imported. Please follow the instructions of our Technical Support staff.
