We have seen several instances now with Windows 10, where you are able to connect to LF using the client but not with the Administration Console. LF Scanning also doesn't work from within the client. We have only seen this issue since people started running LF with Windows 10. I am really looking for anyone that has seen this and had any luck resolving the issue short of a complete OS re-install. Uninstalling/Reinstalling hasn't had any effect on the issue and it isn't related to any Anti-Virus because other Windows 10 PC's on the same network work just fine. I will take any suggestion that someone is willing to provide.

No response from server using Admin Console and Windows 10

What do you mean by "Scanning doesn't work"? Does it launch at all?
Can you double-check that .Net 3.5 is still installed? We've had reports of Windows 10 updates silently uninstalling .Net 3.5 (which Scanning would need to function properly).
No, scanning doesn't launch at all. It basically flashes a window sometimes, but never physically launches. We were able to find in one of the logs that LF scanning was saying no response from server, just like what we see in the Admin Console.
That is an interesting note about .Net 3.5 silently being removed. That isn't something that we have checked in the past. I know previously when we have tried to go back an install .Net 3.5, it wouldn't let you if it had a newer version already there. So would we need to uninstall other versions of .Net and then re-install 3.5?
Correction to above comment: For the instance that I am working on right now, the LF client and LF scanning works just fine. However, the Administration console is giving the No Response from server message when trying to access or register a LF server.
We had another instance where both the Admin Console and LF scanning were not working, but everything else in the client was working.
Just curious, can you register the server with the IP instead of the server name?
Nope. I tried everything I knew to try, but still get No response from server.
Next time you run into the LFScanning issue or if you still have the machine, check C:\ProgramData\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Scanning\Errors. There should be a text file in there with the creation date matching the time you tried to launch it. It would have the full error message.
