We are seeing greater adoption of DITA and the need to share/use information more broadly. Does Laserfiche provide any means today to work with http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.2/os/spec/DITA1.2-spec.pdf? We need to import/export metadata in xml in the manner prescribed.

Hello Richard,

Laserfiche does not have a built-in way of exporting or importing DITA-formatted XML. However, you could use the SDK to get the appropriate data and write your own XML in the format that you desire. Another possible alternative, depending on your needs, is to use Workflow. If you know the structure of your XML file, you can use a script activity and tokens. Create the token with the XML structure you need and then plug your metadata tokens inside.

Seeing how this is a fundamental direction for content management, why would Laserfiche not have it in the roadmap? This is the way things are headed.
