LfWebOffice1 Error on Install of Office Integration

asked on December 14, 2016

When choosing Install when trying to view/edit a Word document in Web Access user gets LfWebOffice1...exe error stating that:

The signature of this program is corrupt or invalid

User is admin on the workstation with full rights to Internet, network, and local drives.

Looking for a fix for this since we are planning on rolling out access to our manufacturing documentation in the next few months and need to do this install on many workstations!

I would suggest you to follow the methods given below and check if the issue persists.

Method 1: Disable software with invalid signature to run in Internet Explorer

a)      Open Internet Explorer browser from Desktop.

b)      From the menu bar select Tools SelectInternet Options.

c)      In the Internet Options window, select Advanced tab.

d)      Scroll down and un-check the Allow software to run or install even if the signature is invalid

e)      Click OK to save the settings. Then close the Internet Options window.

If the issue persists, try resetting the Internet Explorer and check if the issue persists.

1.  She is using the download option offered by Web Access when opening a document that asks to download the Office Integration.  The downloaded file shows up in the IE downloads with the error identified above.

2.  No known changes prior to this.

I will pursue one of the two options you provided to address this.  Thanks.

I've found that fault is not in I.E., sometimes it's in Microsoft essentials. If you turn off the Real Time protection in Microsoft Essentials, whilst you download your program that might work also.
