Question

ssl connection in LF Connector

asked on December 7, 2016

I am trying to set up LF Connector to use the client to search and scan into a repository that requires an SSL connection.  I am not finding any option to tell connector to use SSL in the configuration wizard and I am getting an error if I try to connect without using SSL.

Any ideas on this?

It seems that Search action is alone in not having a checkbox to use SSL for repository connection; "Assign templates and fields", "Import", and "Scan" each have a "Use SSL Connection" checkbox. I'll file a ticket to standardize this for the actions. Until then, the solution is to verify the correct port in the profile XML.

Thanks!

I found it.  I went into the XML and changed the Port = 443

Thanks for the update.  After I posted the question and then modified the XML to get it working, I found that the Scan profile wizard does indeed have the SSL check box.
