Question

Apply formatting to multi-value token in email? (e.g. bullet and numbered lists)

asked on December 1, 2016

I have a multi-value string token, and I want to display the results in an email as a bullet list (or similarly a numbered list), but I don't see any formatting tags that I can apply to do that? In the Token Dialog, I have checked "Apply Index" and "All values separated by Line Break". I was hoping I could use the "Apply Formatting" feature to make this a bullet or number list? (similar to the formatting we can apply for date and number tokens)

I have tried placing <ul><li> type HTML tags around the token in the body of the email, but that is not successful.

Thanks!

Ken

It's possible. You can use the HTML tags as a delimiter in your multi-value token. But you have to indicate to Workflow that those are HTML tags so it won't treat them as static text.

If this is not possible, can this be considered a feature request?

Thanks,

Fantastic! I didn't realize that you could overwrite the options in the "separator" drop-down!

Thanks!

This was just the post I was looking for. However, I am running into a formatting issue in the email. The first file# is offset. Any suggestions on the below:

The following files have reminders sent:

I fixed it. The email had hidden spaces.
